A eulogy written by Mandy for Dad's memorial service

 My dad was truly one of a kind. I have never met anyone else like him, and don’t expect I ever will. My dad loved people, he loved his family and he loved making friends. Helping people out was at the top of his life’s resume. I couldn’t tell you how many computers came through our house to be fixed when I was younger, or how many cars he worked on. He would spend hours and days doing these things for other people and he enjoyed it. His generosity will not be forgotten. I am not just being kind when I say that he is the strongest person I’ve ever known. He never lacked confidence, he was proud of who he was, he was determined and brave. He succeeded. Whatever my dad wanted to do, he did it. Growing up with him as a father without a doubt helped my brothers and I recognize our value as individuals.
